What's New for 2019

Only a few slight updates have been made to the Kia Soul lineup for 2019, all of them to the Base trim. Auto-on/off headlights and a Rear Camera are now included as standard. Additionally, the striking Inferno Red exterior color is now offered on the Kia Soul Base.

There are three different engines offered on the Kia Soul, with each assigned to a specific trim level. Base Soul models receive a 1.6 liter DOHC 16-valve I-4 with 130 horsepower. Stepping up to the Soul + (Plus) means that you'll receive a more powerful 2.0 liter DOHC 16-valve I-4 which produces 161 horsepower. Topping the range is the Soul ! (Exclaim) which features a potent Turbocharged 1.6 liter DOHC 16-valve I-4 that delivers 201 horsepower. You'll have your choice of a 6-speed manual or available 6-speed Sportmatic® automatic transmission.

Advanced Safety

Kia engineers have spent countless hours perfecting the advanced active and passive safety features found on the Soul. Driver and passengers are protected with dual front, front seat-mounted side, and full-length side curtain airbags.
